How long should a golf improvement program last?

In order to identify your natural movement patterns and own them, develop a scoring mindset, learn how to practice your whole game with purpose, develop the on-course strategy you need to play your best, how long will it take?

A) One hour
B) Half day
C) Three-day golf school
D) Three months
E) Lifetime

If you answered A, one hour, I’m simply not the instructor or coach you are looking for. I enjoy developing relationships with my clients and it’s not feasible to give you everything you need in one hour.

If you answered B, half day, we could do a warm-up, play nine holes, benchmark your skills, identify your natural movement patterns and give you a roadmap to follow to develop your game.

IF you answered C, three-day golf school, we’re getting closer…

If you answered D, three months, this is where I would ideally start golfers in order to develop the scoring mindset, on-course skills, purposeful practice session and own your natural movement patterns and golf swing.

It is our goal to guide you to achieve your target score or the lowest score of your career within 90-days of joining one of our coaching programs.

We teach four skills:

  1. Course management: most of our programs start with an on-course game assessment to see where you’re taking your shots and create a comprehensive plan to achieve your scoring goal.
  2. Scoring mindset: we want to customize a process to help you know what to think about or the questions to ask to get you prepared before, during and after a shot. We’ll help you discover visualization techniques along with mental and emotional management strategies.
  3. Purposeful Practice: We’ll recommend the right mix of drills (develop internal feels), games (target awareness activities), exercises (activities you can do without a club or ball) and skills assessments to benchmark your improvement.
  4. Natural Movement Patterns: every body moves differently and generates power and accuracy differently. You will discover how to apply your natural movement patterns to your swing to strike the ball farther, straighter and more consistently!
